Fathers For Good

Here's a link to Fathers For Good, a wonderful resource for dads; check out the heading, "Newsworthy Dads"...you might know that guy.  Thanks to Brian Caufield and the staff for making a silk purse out of this old sow's ear.  The black scrubs are definitely slimming.

  1. I sure liked your statement, "Christ has no body but mine." That's so important. I just hate it that health care professionals wear those gloves all the time. I know why they have to, but I always feel really creepy, like I'm some kind of yucky, contaminated person.

  2. Barb, remember...we don't think of you personally as contaminated. We think EVERYBODY is...LOL! Seriously, don't take it too seriously. I remember the days when we were told not to wear gloves because they insult the patient. The reality is, we are not really protecting ourselves against you; we are trying to keep our germs from spreading from our own hands into our patients wounds and such. We travel person to person and pick up a myriad of nasties. Consider it a comment on us, not you!
